Without Neymar, Variation of Barca Attack is Reduced
Barcelona start the Spanish League season 2017-2018 with positive results. Real Betis at Camp Nou on Sunday (20/08/2017) or Monday early morning WIB, Azulgrana won 2-0 thanks to an own goal Alin Tosca in the 36th minute and Sergio Roberto breakdown three minutes later.
This is Barca’s first win without Neymar, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) with a record transfer of the most expensive player in the world. Previously, Barca always lost to Real Madrid in two Spanish Super Cup matches.
However, coach Ernesto Valverde is not satisfied. The feeling is related to the departure of Neymar to PSG in the transfer market this summer, because it makes Barca lost several options in a variety of attacks.
“We have less depth since Neymar left,” said Valverde as reported by BolaSport.com from Marca.
Valverde also confirmed that he and his team are trying to restore Barca to the best performance.
“We have to help each other in every position and more organized on the defense side,” said the man from Spain.
This is certainly contrary to the situation Neymar at his new club today.
“I am more alive than ever, I am competing, I am very happy, my country, city and team are changing but football is still the same,” said Neymar after undergoing debut with PSG last week.
Brazilian footballer even delivered PSG 6-2 victory over Toulouse in the second week of the French League on Sunday (20/08/2017). He scored two goals.
