Hi! Saw your giveaway via the SpiBelt Facebook page & moseyed on over to your blog. While I’m not 40 (will be 30 in October)….can I still subscribe to your blog? I live in the country—3 hours from a Wal-Mart…gravel roads…nearest town has a population of probably 300 people. VERYrural! LOL Needless to say,I run just about everyday out here by myself & can use any motivation and support I can get.

I came across your blog awhile ago but forgot about it. I read “about ” today and it is so nice to find a blog that I can relate to. I will be 43 this year also, 12 years of dealing with cancer, and try hard to eat healthy and exercise. I need more help on the motivation to exercise. Thanks for being you and sharing your life.

Greetings Samantha,
Just came across your blog and am considering signing up. I am in my late 40’s (wife and mom of 4) and have always made fitness a part of my life. However, due to life events that have taken up a lot of my personal energy, I have gotten out of the habit of exercise. I was really hoping to get back in the game at the turn of the new year, but it just never happened consistently. Now, I am going into the summer, out of shape, feeling really down about it. This year, I really feel my age, because I have lost so much of my strength and stamina. Hate starting from scratch. Hate not having the energy to do the things our family loves to do in the summer. Love to hear back from you ~ let me know if you feel your blog is right for me. Many thanks, Lauren

Hi Lauren and I’m glad you stopped by. I totally understand about starting over. I’ve actually written about it that it’s probably much harder to start over than it is to actually start new! ( I’ve been there and it was either continue to wallow in my own disappointments or simple start over….one foot in front of the other….and on most days with no motivation at all. I also had to and really continue to bear in mind that progress is better than no progress at all. Best of luck to you! I’d love for you to come back to visit, browse a bit and find more that may help!

I saw a blurb about you in June issue of BH &Garden magazine. I found what you said and accomplished very inspiring
